909 Backhoe Help

I picked up a really nice 909 backhoe for my 742. I just got the mounts for the skid steer worked out, and replaced all the backhoe hoses with new ones since they were worn. When I go to use it I only get little movements, and you can here the hydraulic pump make some noise. My right control on the skid steer will go into the detent but won't stay in so I have to hold it. Any ideas what could be wrong? The backhoe pulled a gallon or two worth of fluid from the reservoir. I checked the pioneer connectors and they are functioning. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

That is where i'd start too, i have hooked them up backwards before, oddly, things didn't work so well like that.

That's what it was. I reversed the lever and it worked. The previous owner replaced the two Supply lines before he sold it to me. I will just flip them around.
