909 backhoe attachment

Will a 909 back hoe attachment fit and operate on a 863 F series (not high flow)?

it should fit, but i don't think the ball mounts bobcat sells will fit an 863, but i could be wrong. you may just have to fab up some brackets with 2" balls.

bobcat sells the regular hook mounts and sells the balls that bolt ONTO the hook mounts, so one bracket does all backhoes

I called Bobcat and they told me that it would not fit on my 863. He even sent me the pdf prochure that states what backhoe fits what bobcat. I went ahead and bought the backhoe attachement because it is in pretty good shape and it was only $1800. The parts are worth that and it came with two bucket. The gentleman that I purchased this from stated that he had just used it on a job two months previous and was not aware of any problems.s.

There was a post that stated he had adapted the 909 to a wide body and used the newer pin system instead of the trailer hitch balls. I am planning on doing something similar. (will try to post pics).
