I'm guessing there is a "BEEP BEEP BEEP" that goes along with it. It is setting a code. When it does it, push and hold the headlight botton until the code appears. I'm thinking it is going into shut down for something. Bad fuel solenoid will do one of two things on a duetz, not start at all or not shut off. Never heard of run then die. Most likely a bad sensor. If the machine has no hyd functions, it blew the drive belt and is setting a low charge pressure code, which will cause shutdown.
