Tazza, Thanks,I was going to ask that question about reweld and axel pull. You are right ,not enough room to remove bolt. Everything going good now with the help from all of you. Two more questions , where to get a decent shop manual ot parts manual ?Have a 773 also, does anyone have a manual to cover ,as best as you can, both of them ? Last, how do you torque the bolt on the end of the axel that hold the sprockett on ? Thanks , Butch

Hi butch22, instead of posting a new topic, you should simply "reply to post" in the original post. That way members can see the whole story in one topic. You could simply copy your post here and reply in the original to keep it straight.

Glad the details helped. As RonAus said, you should have replied to the previous post, but a slip of the mouse can miss it, oh well.

Sorry about the multiple posts. Got everything back from the machine shop and ready to reinstall. Any ideas how to torque the bolt down ? I can only think of a crows foot . Thanks , Butch

It's all good, easy to move. Not sure on the specs, they just need to be really tight. You can even use the drive to tighten it up. Make sure you use loctite on the threads too.
