I have a Bobcat 873, it keeps giving me trouble with the hydrolic lift/tilt. This happens sporadically, the dealer replaced actuators, seemed to have worked for a while then back to the same issues. I sent it to another mechanic that checked wiring and replaced all relays, it still gives me the same issues. Seems to work better in the real cold weather, suspecting left control arm ?? Does cold weather affect CPU ?? or any connectors that are sealed in the "plastic block connectors" not sure what it's called...Any help would be appreciated. Thanks ! Martin

F or G series? AHC or ACS? What service codes?
Hi Dan . It is an F series AHC So no service codes. Checked it out today. Everything Works , the right side light was on constant on the left steering control handle. Possibly when i need the machine tomorrow it will not work and the light will flash five times . Martin

AHC . has always been diffult to diagnose. the codes are indicated by countining flashining lights on handle, also of note three different ahc controllers. not S/N specific. even after almost 20 yrs in the bobcat world. I cringe when one comes in. reality is it is component replacement. not the preffered method of T/S but there it is. and gets costly quick. now there is an ahc T/S guide out there as reference voltage should be between 1 and 5 volts etc. this has been no help to me . rember ATARI first gamining sys. im sure there is somebody out there still breathing that has this nailed . but twenty yrs of workining on bobcats I don't. it usually ends up . replace actuators replace handles replace controller and than harness most times 6 grand later it works for awhile. NOTE>> about a three yr production run. and than never again. get the hint.

I hear you. Even when i called the dealer to let him i was having problems after him replacing both actuators he said the computer may be causing them to go bad again. They told me that the handles come as a set and are very expensive.. Anyone know where i can buy seperate . Who knows i could be lucky with one. Thank you for the info.
