The new l 185 does have a electric fuel pump, the older b ain't got one .But anyhow the trouble i had was any place that wireing harness layed on something the dang thing rubbed through. And it started out just shutting off latter on it would blow fuses. I cant say if the older ones are like the newer ones but id give the wireing a good eyeball . Had it rub on the bottom of the pump housing that one caused a dead short. And up where it goes into the instrument pannel it makes a hard turn and rubbed there, that one was killer to run down. Hope that ain't it, but just the luck Ive had.</p></blockquote><p></p>
