863G Hydraulic leak

My 863G is leaking fluid out of the back of the pump. A thing that looks like a solenoid that has a red cap with a snap ring holding it on is leaking pretty good. I could upload a pic but don't know how. Any ideas on what I'm looking at? I'm new to the forum, thanks for your help.

Are you sure it's the pump and not the control block? THe control block has linklages that connect to your pedals. The control block is known to leak when the seals get old and harden up.
