just bought this machine and it has a code something 7 and i will have to get the first part of code but it says sensor out of range and the symbol that looks like a drop inside a bulb is flashing. my question is will it hurt if i run it with this code. thank yall for any help you can give me. Oh yea this is a 98 with about 1900 hours

ok i went out and fired her up i am getting two codes one is ep 3 and the other is ep 7. and on my bar gauge it is all the way up. from what i can tell the ep3 code is no wire connection and ep7 is sensor out of range. so will it hurt if i run the machine until i have funds and time to get it checked. or is there anyone in tx hillcountry that might be able to help me out? thank yall for any advice you can give.

with the ep7 code and the bar gauge pegged out i would guess your oil pressure sender is internally shorted or the wiring is. i would just unplug the oil pressure sender and see if the code changes. Then put a jumper wire in connector and see if same code comes back. Anytime you run a machine without the gauges working properly you run the risk of damaging the loader.
