I have a 863 c with the duetch diesel it was all around weak when I bought it but it worked ok, I recently had the whole pump rebuild and now the wheels have tons of power but the bucket up down and curl are still kinda slow and doesn't seem to have alot of power it will still pick up a bucket a dirt but it wont lift anything heavy I was told that machine should lift the back of truck and it wont . it just stops, the motor doesn't bog or anything it just wont pick it up I would think it should at least lift its own ass off the ground but it wont, the previous owner said bobcat rebuilt the control valve, is there any thing im missing.

Glad the engine issue was just the pump.
It's possible that you have a bad relief valve in the control valve or something stuck in it. You could also have a weak hydraulic pump.
Hopefully it's just something simple like a relief valve.

Does that machine run multiple pumps like the newer ones? I would put gauges and check your pressures

OK dude old school 863. biggest badest skid steer at the time of release. you want squared away? do direct pump test. shes gonna be weak a pump and main relief is gonna be about 1200. installed and set, that's lifrt ad tilt and aux, only A= direct pump, test
