Anyone know how much hydraulic oil is needed when the oil is changed? I see the system capacity is 10.7 gallons, and the reservoir holds 4.7, but how much is needed to refill? I empty the system by engaging the lift arm flow and running the oil out the lower connector on the lift arms. And yes, I've tried to search here but the search function seems intermittent. :-) ---Bobbie-G

That's the hard thing to know, you will only need the full 10.7 gallons when you drain the whole lot, you always have fluid in the pumps, lines, cooler, filter and motors. I hope for your sake, that you never have the need to do a full system drain :)
Hopefully the days of me stripping machines to nothing are behind me, draining all fluids, blowing out tube lines etc. It was great to learn from, but looking back... so very much work.

You da man, Tazza! We all benefit greatly from your experience. -- I'll post back here in a month or so re oil change volume when I finish the 1000 hrs stuff. :-) ---Bobby-G
