I have an 1996 863 that I recently picked up. I am getting a leak from the hydraulic control valve. The boot on the bucket control lift spool end is torn and that is where it is leaking from. What I need to know is if there is a tear in the boot and it is leaking there, is there an internal issue with the control valve? in other words, can i just replace the boot or do I need to pull it apart and replace o-rings, etc. I do have the control unit off of the BC so if I need to I will, but if I do not have to I am not big on taking apart something like that and risking screwing something else up. Does anyone have a good diagram of the unit? Does anyone have a parts list for these parts and/or a place to order them? I would definitely appreciate any detailed breakdown images and or instructions of the unti if you have them. Thanks, Dean

The boot don't mean anything. There are seals on the spools that need to be changed. This is something I consider maintance, they will all need it done at some point. This topic has been disgusssed many time with detailed steps. It is basically the same on all machines. Just check out any post here reguarding a leak.
