Hi I’m new to the site and having troubles with my machine. My machine was starting hard but always started. So I did some routine maintance. Made sure I had current going to each glow plug, Changed oil filter, fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel shut off solenoid, fuel pickup line in tank, all rubber fuel lines, all the belts except for timing belt. Timing belt looks to be in good shape. I was hauling a round bail out of field and the machine just shut down. I have a 1/2 tank of gas. Checked fuel at filter with the ball and had deisel coming out. So I try starting is but it acts like it wants to start but it won’t. I have exhaust when I turn it over. I not sure where to look now. I did the routine maintance about 20 hours ago. Any body know what else to look for? Machine has 2400 hrs.

Fuel solenoid clicks when I turn the key. I’ll try the ether today. Thanks for the input.
Not sure on that machine but others have a 2 mode fuel shut off a lift and hold side. If the linkage is accessible I would tie it over and try it. On our t320 the solenoid was bolted into the pump with no exposed linkage but removing it allowed it to start
