Hi all, new to the forum and doing some work on my 863. Any help is appreciated. I noticed the single bolt was snapped off in the pump that mounts the hydraulic pump to the mainframe/motor mount on the right side (passenger side) of the machine. I ordered a bolt and what I thought was the right spacer from bobcat dealer. However, the spacer doesn’t seem to be right and I can’t determine from the parts diagram, what spacer I need. Is there a spacer that goes inside the oblong hole of the frame mount or is the bolt just supposed to ride up and down in there? The spacer I got from the dealer looks like it would be the gap piece to go between the frame mount and the pump, but my frame bracket on the machine appears to be one piece and doesn’t need that spacer.

Not sure what spacer you're talking about, you mean the one on the engine mount?

I’m not sure if there is even a spacer that goes around the bolt that threads into the pump. Just seems very loose around the bolt inside the oval engine mount hole.

I’m assuming the engine/chassis mount is supposed to be oblong up and down like that to allow the pump to float some or?????? Just seems like a poor design and very easy way for that bolt to snap off.

Pulled this off an old post on this forum. This “spacer” is what has me confused. I don’t see a place for a spacer in my machine, unless I’m missing something or there are two designs for the 863’s. Sorry for all the posts. Just trying to make it easier to understand what I’m talking about. I would post pictures but not sure how. Re: 863g hydraulic problem Posted: 09-09-2016 04:43 AM Be very careful to inspect for broken bolt(s) that help hold the "charge" pump. On the 863's, they break off quite often & then hang down & can cause a horrible knocking noise. If it is broken, sometimes you can pull the rest of the bolt out with your fingers. These machines call for a special SPACER between the pump & engine mount. I would really encourage you to ensure that bolt & spacer is present when you get all done with her.

The older machines had spacers (washers) to get the pump and motor inline for the inline style of motor/pump arrangement, the newer models ran a belt to link the motor to the pump so there was no fine tuning of the location to make it run true.
Can you check what is on the opposite side and hopefully it will be the same as the missing one.
