I think it is the servo steer. Its so bad its a pain trying to put on a bucket. Thanks for the help.If it is standard linkage, the steering probably needs going threw. The pintle levers could very well be loose on the shafts. If it is servo steer, I think some 853 had it, they suck. They all drive bad and if it has problems, take it in, those are a pain to get right.
That is normal for a 853, they are hard to make fine movements with, like picking up a attachment.I think it is the servo steer. Its so bad its a pain trying to put on a bucket. Thanks for the help.
I called my nearest bobcat dealer and talked to them and he told me how to tackle the problem.Hopefully with a little luck I will be able to do what he explained. Thanks again for the help. That is normal for a 853, they are hard to make fine movements with, like picking up a attachment.
There is no feeel in the steering levers as to what is center or if you have pushed both forward evenly. Most machines have some increasing resistance as you push the stick farther forward that helps you judge if you have both sides at a even speed. But the 853 is so lite on the levers all you can dois push them both and then see if your going straight.
They take extra practice to run, compared to most.
