Have 853 bobcat , rebuilt the valve body hoping to restore hydraulic system, after rebuild the machine would still not move forward or back so I took it do a authorized dealer and had a remain hydrostatic pump installed . When it was delivered I have the issue I am currently having ,before pump was installed arms worked great . Dealer is saying that my machine came in with lift arm problems so no help with dealer . Any help would be appreciated it's been down way too long.Thank you.

I'm not familiar with the 853 but when that happens to my 863 it is the seat switch or the safety bar not all the way down causing a lock-out of the hydraulics. I have the box with the green lights that must be lit for the arms or tilt to work.

I agree with Flip - sounds like the BICS would be a good starting place
