I’m looking for a manual for an 853 to cover my serial no, 512816339
I have a very nice assortment of manual a vey nice gentleman shared with me, they’re 99% accurate but in some areas not, such as in the parking brake which is what I’m working on at the moment. Parts shown in the manuals I have are nothing like my setup
Any help is much appreciated
Thanks

The immediate was is to go to https://shop.bobcat.com/ and type in a part name/number. Add your serial number and then choose a part that comes up. Scroll down and there should be an option for “diagram”. As an example, the below diagram is what comes up for the word “brake” with your serial number and choose a brake part listed.

Also, I’m adding brakes to my 853 today and I’d send you detailed pics since the parts are on my workbench, but brakes for your serial number range are totally different.

I appreciate all the help guys. You are fantastic. I believe I got to the bottom of that issue as well what the previous owner did on this was eliminate the electric solenoid, weld a bolt to the shaft going down to the block in the parking brake and craft a mechanical handle, coming up front with a latch to latch the brake off or on The problem was raising the handle and latching it in the off position wasn’t quite lifting it high enough the next time I move the machine I will know, but I believe that is now taken care of. I really hate working on stuff when other hands have been in it previously and stuff was not done correctly
But I will eventually get it all sorted out
