And this is what is under the spring....

This is out of the parts manual, It states that this “busshing needs to be welded on.....thats fine but without running to BC I would rather just throw some stock in the lathe and machine these right. The hole in the lever is @ .75 in. does anyone know how tight the busshing is, does it go through the lever, and if so by how much......

I can't remember the exact size. Why not take the other side apart and measure it. They are both the same.

Just reread your post. If the other side is missing the bushing too then my advice doesn't help. It seems to me that the bushing runs through the lever and is maybe an inch long. The lever just floats on it. Nothing is a very tight fit that I can remember.

I too thought they were about an inch long, they are a very sloppy fit, but the spring holds the lever tight anyway.

So I worked on the levers today, I ground down the nasty crap that was left on the pivot. It seemed there were multiple piece in there. Took the bucket off to see the backside. Its a through bolt, knocked it through and found that its seems to be one piece with a shoulder where the lever goes on. I chucked up some 3/4 stock and cut it down to 5/8, then cut it to a half inch to sit on top of the bushing. For now I'm running it like this but will check with BC to see what it looks like and if its what I think I'll get a pilot bit and cut it down and install a sleeve to work.

This is the (good) one, the groove is just that, its not a through bushing.

That looks right. It seems to me that the bushing goes up into the spring a bit but I could be wrong.

Well the inside dia of the lever is @ .75.....could have been worn out though, the inside dia of the spring is @ .620 so I dont really know. Next time I'm at BC I'm gonna see if they may have one in stock so I can see it....and I'll bring my calipers with me
