853 bobcat cylinder support brace

Hi, I have an 853 bobcat and need to find out the length of the cylinder support brace. I figure I will have to fabricate one out of angle iron or c channel. My problem is I have no idea how long to make it

Can you clarify which cylinder you are referring too (lift or tilt) and provide a photo perhaps? I can take a measurement this afternoon and PM you (I have a 1993 853).

edit......nevermind, I now realize you are talking about the safety bar for the lift cylinder on the right side. Will measure it for you today and let you know.
