843B Motor/gearbox seals

Hello, i'm replacing the hyd motor/gearbox shaft seals (the lip seal) on my 843B, i see in the service manual there is a special seal tool, is there a specific depth to drive the seal to so it butts up to the back up washer and quad ring? would be great if someone had a picture and the measurements of the tool (MEL-1047)so i can build one, thanks guys

I thought the seal bottomed out, so a pin punch all around it is all that's needed.
I thought people even used PVC pipe fittings of the correct size to whack on to seat it.
