843B Lap Bar Gas Cylinder

I am trying to add the gas cylinder to hold the lap bar up or down. I have a welder and can fab a bracket I just can’t seem to find any good pictures of how it’s all supposed to go together. I did try new springs but they are so strong the bolts keep losing up and the cab frame is bending where the bars mount. Thanks

Sadly i have never done it either, but i heard they work very well.
