I was in a panic over oil dribble coming out of filler cap .
Tried to get the cap to seal a few different ways to no avail.
It eventually ruined the alternator.
Came up with this , lowered and leveled the long angled tube and put a k&n style filter on it .
No more oil , no smoke .
This old Perkins has 7,000 + hours and still fires right up .
The factory fill tube bolts on the block right off the camshaft.
Any leak at the cap will cause the oil spinning of the camshaft to crawl up and queef out of the cap .
By reliving the pressure and making it a vertical breather, no more oil .
Wish I thought of this sooner
