Howdy everybody Im having more problems with my bobcat . I replaced the battery last winter worked fine till now I started getting all my codes sporadically ie low fuel , cooling/ oil pressure, and so on .It has the boss system and shuts down after codes start flashing . I still have the hp2 code after 1300 dollars of work thru bobcat and said the problem was taken care of so I have not been back since they keep telling me its a new problem on the hp2. On the hp2 code when I idle down just a little it dont go off very often . thanks for all the help i can get on these problems

I guess its possible the sender is bad, you may need to install a pressure gauge to check if the charge pressure is right or not.
The BOSS system detects the low charge pressure as a critical problem and shuts it down.
Its a bit harsh the dealer 'fixed it' and its still not right. What did they do exactly to fix it?

Hi Tazz HP 2 They put a new sender on it and said the problem was fixed got home had the same problem. Took it back they said the drive motor seals were the problem , so i told tem too fix them they did and said it took care of it tested it at the inlaws and still had the problem called them tok it back then they said somthing must be wrong with the pump ,so i took it home didnt run it full open and the code didnt show as much thats what i mean about they what i mean by the dealer fixed it . Anyway just recently alot of the other codes started popping up so im trying to figure this out . Ihad a guy tell me the battery was bad but it starts up fine . I was thinking maybe a ground somewhere ?sorry so long but just trying to figure things out thanks for all the info in trying to resolve the problems.

Very strange. The dealer should have installed a pressure gauge to the line to check if the charge pressure was low, not just throw a sender at it. I can't see a drive motor causing the issue either.
Can you remove the sender and install an adaptor and pressure gauge to check the charge pressure? It should be about 90-120PSI from memory. If its about right, it has to be grounding or a wire to the BOSS computer.
These are the dealers that really anoy me, they throw parts at it hoping it will fix it and won't admit when they are wrong. They should have done the work and got it fixed. I can't see it being the pump, if drive and lift/tilt are fine i believe it is fine, if anything its a restirction in a filter or possibly, very possibly a bit if trash in your charge pressure relief valve that screws into the pump.

Ill see if I can find a gaga to do this and check it out thanks . After all the other stuff they did they tried to get me to purchase the BOSS box . I told them if they could garrentee the fix I would but they said no garentee LOL . The other problems with this flashing several codes just started all the sudden and was told it could be the battery. ( fuel, oil, filter, coolant ) all started about the same time and started stalling out. The new fuel shutoff soliniod they put on is still working improperly because i half to hand ingage it somtimes . Thanks for all the info Tazza I need all the help i can get Floyd
