Hi all , I hope I am doing this correctly? I have a 7753 with the BOSS option it has been giving all different sorts of wiring shorted codes, and now it has fried the fuel shutoff solenoid , it literally melted the end off of two solenoids. P.S. I am new to posting , so be gentle.

It fried it because the pull in voltage is staying on. There are two coils in the solenoid, pull in and hold in. Pull in is normally a quick blip of voltage, if it stays on, the coil will fry as described in about 5 minutes. Before condemning the Boss, I would check the harness over for any bad rubs.

Thanks for the reply, do you know of any ****. places that are common for rubs?
