Hey guys! I found a used 7753 at a local tractor dealer I trust . It has original paint and looks pretty darn clean it actually doesn't have any rust or scratches to speak of for a used model. It has 2200 hrs comes with a tooth bucket as well. Not sure of year model and haven't test driven yet. They are asking $8200 which seems a tad on the low side ? I'm buying this to upgrade from my 743 will I be able to tell much difference? Is this a good model ? Thanks, Tee

The price is on par with machines in my area, remember, this machine is approx 20 years old. The newer style 773's may appeal to more users due to the visibility factor. These machines do have side to side blind spots. Saying that, its a big step up from a 743, you will be able to keep the front end on the ground much easier due to the longer wheel base. Its also a lot more stable due to the extra width. The overall power and lifting ability will be a lot more than you are use to. If you use any attachments, the extra hydro flow would be a plus. Would the dealer be willing to take your 743 in on trade?

They are a good machine, basically the predecessor to the 773. Hours are low and the kubota will probably run for another 4000. The only downfall I've heard is there quite a few parts on it that are specific to that machine, not 100% on that but something to think about. You would probably be better off buying it and selling your 743 privately. They still bring $6000 where I sit.

Thanks for the info! I asked the manager if he would consider a trade and he said he would but I'm afraid I wouldn't get what I put into it ... go figure... and I've finally got my 743 running well and I actually am attached to it. I looked at a 773 a few weeks back and it had wheel bearing issues and I didn't feel like the guy was being completely up front with me about some things . I would prefer a 773 but this one is only 5 miles from my house and I'm amazed at the condition makes my 743 look like junk in comparison just to look at it. I'm going to take a closer look this week and test drive it and see how low I can get him on the price. Will snap some pics and post them end of the week. Thanks , Tee
