Not a great sign, check your connections between the BOSS computer and the panel. If it still acts up, there is a chance there is an issue with the BOSS controller.....

yea not good..boss has lost iniliazation. this is old school stuff. Atari like old. don't lose hope.. but what you have to try first . clean all elect connections specifly grounds. to regress , this is what I would do if presented with this issue. vissualy examine unit for crud on elect connections. green brown etc make a note of where they are. this may aid in pinpoint. of problem . clen em up check the heart batt and alt.(don't fix at this time) just need to see if good. if not we may have our cause., so from here. all connections in there happy place. dig in the tool room find the boss box. most dealirships have one. techs have a hard time throwing stuff away. it consist of a hard plastic case (gray) has one blank or (WHAT CONSITED OF SVC SOFTWARE ATHE TIME) boss unit (the black box) and sevarl plug in cartiges like a game boy. not that you care but the introduction of boss as lateset and greasted thing to ever happen in B/C world. STATE OF THE ART. montirs vitals goes into shutdown if parameters not met. preventing damage.. did not quite pan out. back to point.... back in the day when a DSM was a DSM. super secret reinatazlition cardiges where handed out to reputable dealers. worth further research. now a new boss unit can still be ordered . they require S/N. hrs options. they program. it I think was about 1000. now one would obvisouly question why cant I wire around it. ive seen it done but never safely. the ones ive seen juryrigged was a mousetrap looking for a man to kill.....

I was told years back that the company that was manufacturing the BOSS controllers quit making them and Bobcat was having difficulty finding another manufacturer to build them.
Even if your BOSS controller is totally dead, dealers can install a "Push to Operate" option that will still allow the BICS system to function and will allow you to operate the loader.
Years back I was quoted around $200 for the "Push to Operate" kit plus installation. You would still have to add your own gauges.

this I did not know. I do know that senders will be different. , I do know that main frame harness incorpated pig tails for both ,leading one to assume. that ,its generic. but my relocation was tha t control valve were different that's why it was not, cost effective. this needs to be checked , A cost effective way of converting boss to analog or old school hand control. to basic foot control. ? could be worth some coin.. ive looked into it and failed.
