I need help narrowing an issue with my 773 turbo. I keep it sitting in my shed at about 50 degrees. I start it and let it idle for 5 - 10 minutes before use. Once I start moving snow it will start to bog down and wanna kill engine unless i relax all hydraulics and stop moving then it will in seconds come back to full power. So while using after a warmup period it will want to die, It goes through this wanting to bog down issue about another ten minutes of babying the unit along until it seems to come out of it and then just continue to work very well then on. Again this issue is only during about the first ten minutes of use then it just comes out of it and runs fine. I have changed the Fuel Filter. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like as the fuel warms up it improves. Did you use a bobcat filter? Have you tried pumping the primer while it is acting up? Also check to make sure fuel shut off is all the way engaged

I didn’t use bobcat brand filter but it had bobcat brand on it when this started anyways I have a different brand in there and as far as the primer it happens when I’m in using the machine and moving and if I come to a stop it immediately gets back to normal in a second , so I guess I can’t pump the primer bulb when it does it cause it only does it when using hydraulics and goes normal so quickly. The fuel shut off seems to be all the way open, and it operates great after ten minutes or so

I do not think this is a fuel problem. Just when it's cold, the oil in the hydraulics is very dense and can not be heated by idling. Before starting work, lift and drop the arms 5-6 times, move the bucket end to end 5-6 times, go slowly and do not push the levers to the end until the oil has warmed. Maybe you should use a rare oil in the winter if it is very cold and long. Check/replase hydraulic filter, may be clogged. Is there a charge pressure alarm/ light or code?

Thank you for the reply I have changed filter , and there is no alarms or codes. I was told from dealer use the recommended engine oil in hydraulic system so I have rotella 5w-40 in there and the outside temp is roughly around 0 feirenheit. .

this turned out to be an issue with the cold i just had to cycle hydraulics and drive slowly for a little bit to allow oil to warm up and cycle a bit . Idling in below 0 temperatures doesnt do much to warm up hydraulic system. thanks to all

Glad you got it sorted.
Some have suggested to run the machine and engage the aux hydraulics and dead end it, to warm the fluid up faster as when it runs over the relief valve, the fluid gets hot, and fast. But this will put more load on a cold system, so does it do more bad than good? i have no idea.

be sure to frequently check / change your air filters too. with a turbo, they suck a lot of air into the filter & clogging them is relatively easy to do.

This issue was related to cold hydro oil , when I start out now I cycle all hydraulics multiple times before use .
