My 2002 773g runs for 15-20 minutes then starts to run rough and stalls.it will restart but it’s rough and I can move it a bit at a time to get it back to my shop.it has never done this before and now has done it twice in a row.i brought it into the shop and checked the fuel line into the tank.its not plugged but the line from the 90 into the tank is a straight plastic tube that Is cut on an angle at the bottom.it has no rubber fuel line and no fuel pickup on the end.not sure f this is original or this was changed at some point.i have at least 200 hours on this machine since I bought it. Ran it after checking the line and it did the same thing.15 minutes then power loss. Seems like a full starvation problem. Purged any possible air in the system and am now seeking advise on what to try next. Will check all the fuel lines today but I doubt that they are plugged. I’m wondering if something is in my fuel tank that settles and then plugs up after a bit of use. Fuel filter was changed in the spring and is only maybe 10 hours old. May drain the tank to see if anything comes it. Don’t want to remove it if I don’t have to as I hear it’s an adventure.

Your course of action seems like a good one.
If you want to quickly verify that it is the tank and lines, you could rig it up to run off of a separate temporary fuel source and see if the problem persists or not.

Checked the fuel lines.nothing plugged and fuel flows freely through. Let it run idling for 15 minutes til it started running rough again. The primer bulb not sucked flat but definitely not real hard. As the revs drop and it’s about to stall I can pump the bulb and the revs increase. So something is either restricting the flow or its not pumping properly. Is there a fuel pump or something else I can check? Thanks.

The first thing to do is change the fuel filter if you havent already done so. Ninety percent of fuel issues is the filter.
