Howdy, so thankful to find this site. I 've been fighting the fuel system and tracked it down to the fuel intake line. I replaced the fuel line, filter with check valve in tank, and the rubber grommet. I still get no fuel to primer bulb. I've sucked on the fuel line going to the bulb until I about passed out and can hear air coming into the tank through the fuel cap. I covered the downspout into the tank with my hand, then sucked on same hose and could build massive pressure but never get any diesel into the line. Before I replaced the intake line, while in the process of trying to figure it out, I was blowing into line going to tank and it seemed plugged, so I hesitantly blew some air with my compressor towards the tank which built pressure then gave through and I could hear air bubbles in the tank. could that have screwed something up? I didn't know there was a check valve on the filter at that point. I'm a new bobcat owner and not a mechanic but live an hour away from any service and can't afford the $150/hr plus $1.25/mile to get local bobcat dealer to send out mechanic, so I just have to figure things out and do it myself. Sure wish I hand found this site a few months ago while I was fighting other issues. Any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible you got the lines reversed at the tank and you're sucking on the return line?
I tracked the line from the bulb to the fitting in the tank which I put all the new stuff on, so I'm guessing it's correct? I really appreciate the speedy response......I'm about to lose my you know what on this one!

If you traced the line back, there is no reason for it to be sucking air. I'd remove the tube again just to be sure you got the right one.
The pickup tube, is it hars straight plastic or curved hose? could it have curled up and be sucking air?
