my employer has a 773 skid steer. and the bobtach cylinder sluffs off and looses pressure while bouncing around. which results in pitching the bucket, forks, log grapple off. What should I look for to correct this?

check for bent rod
I SUPPOSE AND FOREMOST IS THE SAFETY CONCERN,,,,, you cant be dropping loads. you cant have buckets fallining off. bad **** happens quick. refuse to operate until problem repaired. easy fix remove pwr bob cyl cap lines #6 caps and plugs . go back to manual. don't get hurt don't hurt knobody else. TAG UNIT OUT DO NOT OPERATE> this cant be stated serious enough. it happens quick. catching a 150lbs bkt with 2yards of material in it does not bode well for the catchee. let alone the the fact that you there was problem . and you yes you are personally resposbile. for letting it go

TO BE CLEAR IF PWR BOB CYL ROMEVED AND LINES CAPPED OFF. YOURE GOOD. JUST HAVE TO MANUALLY LOCK DOWN ATTACHMENT. NO ONE DIES.

Do you mean that there is slop in the pivot points allowing the bucket to wobble around when going over bumps or what not?
Wear in the pivot points is very common, it can be repaired.

The pivot points are very worn. But what I think is going on is that the square cylinder is loosing pressure somewhere. But there are no evident leaks.

What square cylinder are you talking about? not sure i am aware of one of these.
Internal leakage could cause issues of it moving with no external leaks.
