763G Input code

I turn the key on the machine on and all i get is the hour panel says input code on it and nothing else works. I can jump the starter and it runs fine. Please help

Check the plugs on the panels, if they aren't talking to each or the computer it can do this.
As you can jump start it, the battery must be good.

What can be done to troubleshoot this problem? I have already checked the harness that connects the two panels, and it is ok.

The only other thing i can think of is to trace the wires back to the computer and ensure the connections are clean going into the computer. Sorry i can't help you trace it more than that, i have never had that problem.
Have you tried talking to the service department at your dealer? most are very helpful.
