Have a 763 G series with hand and foot controls. Believe its a 2001 model? Anyways the last couple months Ive been having some issues with running it on hand controls mode. When I try and raise the arms it only goes about half the speed it does on foot control. Also seems like the engine has to be running almost wide open for it to even move at all. The bucket curl is still working just fine on either hand or foot. I have also noticed a few times that the arms wanted to slowly lift up on their own without controlling it to. Anybody ever seen anything like this or know of anything I should try and look for? I have already replaced to electrical switch in the handle? Any help or info would be much appreciated!! Thanks

Тhis most likely is the Hall sensor on the right control lever or less oxides and rust on the cables to it.This sensor corresponds to the ACs controller in the . These sensors are very sensitive. Small shift change little voltage and that gives information to the controller how fast and where to move the arms.Remuve sensor- blown it well with air, check all theconnectors from handle to the controller - use a little sray .Check the mounting bolt that connects the handle to the handle sensor for wear. Replaseas needed. Assemble everything carefully and try it.

Any service codes come up in the dash when using it in hand control? Does it lock out the lift and tilt functions when acting funny? It raising by itself makes me think it's a problem with the spool not centering because of an issuse with the centering spring. Even that should set a code. If it's not setting a code and replacing the handle sensor didn't fix the problem, I'd wonder about the controller.

I forgot to say- lift the rubber boot cover and check the routing of the swich handle wire harness to assure proper return of the control handle to neutral and minimize harness movement.
