Hey guys, My 763 cranks over fine, battery is not old at all, but will not start. At first it started and ran for 10 seconds or so then died. Now it barely starts at all before dying. -Fuel solenoid looks to be moving (Visibly) -Primer does not appear to be shrunk when I crank or it starts briefly -Machine ran fine when last used a week or so ago -Fuel lines look good, although they look to have been replaced with goodyear lines. -I am in Socal, temp doesn't get anywhere close to freezing and I am generally trying to start at 65 degrees or so. Any advice appreciated! Bought a new fuel filter to rule that out and also a new pickup tube (Have not checked yet)

Are you sure you're getting fuel to the pump? as you replaced the filter, I assume you bled the system?
Starting then stopping leads me to believe it's a fuel issue and this is the most common cause. As you got a new pickup tube, you have thought it too. If you squeeze the primer bulb, if it feels solid, I think you don't have air, but if you squeeze it and get a helper to crank the machine, see if the extra pressure helps at all.
If the shut off solenoid moves, i'd hope it's allowing fuel to get to the injectors. I am unsure of the setup you have to know how much it needs to move to do so.

So how do fuel lines "look good"? What's that supposed to mean? Did you stick your head down it and look inside it?? Of course you didn't! So, get a small container of some sort and stick a TWO new 5/16 hoses through TWO holes, in that tank (one in the top and one near the bottom), so it will gravity/feed the engine. squeeze the primer bulb a few times and fire it up! If it runs, you need to replace BOTH lines (draw and return!) with a couple pieces of STEEL brake line.....available at Autozone for much less than the Bobcat's stupid, worthless rubber hose they use to sabotage every machine that comes out of their factory!!! If you want to put a better fuel pickup tube on it too, go to tanks.com and they have what you need. Remember - draw AND return!
