I started my 763 the other day and realized I forgot to get my phone, I left the machine running and got off of it retrieved my phone and sat back down in the seat rather hard. As soon as i sat down it went totally dead including all the gauges. I tried to look for a short in the wiring harness under the seat and checked all the fuses before giving up and taking it to an equipment dealer (but not bobcat). the dealer said that the problem was a ignition panel and said it would be ready that afternoon to pick up, but then called and said its still not working, now they are saying they think its the computer and that it may need a whole new wiring harness as well. I feel like they don't know what they are doing, any advice on what the issue is ?

If its a G series, my guess is a broken communication wire between the dash and and the controller.

You're right it doesn't sound like they know what they're doing... You can throw parts at it all day long and accomplish nothing but wasting money if you don't know how to actually diagnose and confirm a problem. Take it somewhere else and you shouldn't have to pay for repairs that didn't solve your problem (misdiagnosis).
