First of all I removed my traction lock solenoid and all that came out was the solenoid, no spring our any other parts. Took the cover off and nothing in the chain case rolling around. I'm missing parts. My question is what does traction lock due and what would be the reason to push the traction lock button? Next I did not see any brake shoes in there either. Is that something worth fixing or will I forget to release the parking brake and drive with it on? Due most guys use the bucket as a brake? I don't even know what I'm missing. Jeff

Pressing the traction lock button releases the brake so you can move the machine with the seat bar still up.
Sounds like someone had issues with the brake and just removed the parts.... If you talk to your dealer, request a copy of the brake assembly, you can see what will be needed then.
If they are missing, there is a good chance the coil is damaged too. That's why the other parts are gone. A stuck relay can cause them to burn up.
