So spent my vacation fixing everything on my Bobcat. Everything except the seat bar sensor that is. Changed it out and no difference. Pulled every wire connector and ground wire off the machine and put di electric grease and put back together. Still have the same problem even with a new seat bar sensor. Is there a possibility that the magnet might be weak or dirty? I cleaned it with electrical spray but didn't seem to help. 763 G series.

It's always possible that the magnet is broken or weak, but i had my doubts. What happens if you remove the sender and magnet from the cab, re-connect the wiring and rotate the magnet while on the sender and look to see if the light comes on. Tape it in place and see how it operates. If it wprks properly, it could be the magnet, or even the tang that holds the magnet in place so it can't move on the shaft.
