Got a 763 that runs but lacks power when needed and will cut off after few minutes. I have changed fuel filter and have ran fuel from separate tank and still cuts off. It acts like it runs out of fuel and I have changed fuel pump about two months ago. One injector seems to be not 100 percent but should not cause to quit running. Like I said have eliminated the pick up tube as a possible problem.

I would check the fuel shut off solenoid to make sure it’s staying in place. After that I would look at maybe a compression check. I have heard on other equipment of injectors doing goofy things when they get heated up

might sound silly, but check your hydraulic system level. if they get low, they like to shut down to prevent damage to the hydraulic system. you might have a leak that is causing it to shutoff before youd like it to.
