its time for new tires on my 763. I would like to go to a wider tire. it has 10x16.5 on it now. Have any of you guys put wider tires on a 763? I was thinking of going to a 12x16.5. Hoping with a wider tire the machine will do better on softer grounds.

The difference in flotation will be minimal. The difference between worn out and new can make all the difference. If you need ultimate flotation Over the Tire Tracks are wonderful. I ran the 12s on a 763 for a while 500hrs or so and went back to the 10s. Also tried 12s on the S185 and again went back to the 10s. I do run 12s on the 843 and dont like 10s for what it does. Each machine has a sweet spot and that depends on what the machine has to do and what the operator expects.
