Just bought a 763, it started leaking a lot of fluid from the valve where the foot pedals connect. I disconnected the linkages and tried to pull the valve body (with the 2 solenoids) off but can't remove it. Does anyone have an idea of what it could be? I leaked out 2.5 gallons in about 20 minutes. What should I do from here? I'd like to repair myself if possible.

follow up, i was able to get the "interlock?" body off, I backed the solenoids out some and it slid right off, there are 2 yellow seals in there, one on each shaft, one was missing a small piece of the inner ridge, and they were a little stiff, is this the only seal, per shaft, for that valve body? there are two oring gaskets as well i will be replacing. the fluid was coming out of an open hole at the bottom of the body, is this normal? it seems like the hole is an emergency drain for this situation. Any input?

no reason to remove valve. this is a common repair , the lip seals on lift and tilt spools need replaced . you need 4 lip seal 2 new springs and 4 balls 1 plastic plug and one litty bitty o ring. about 10 bucks. ther is a thread posted on this site with repair proucd.
