I have a '95 model 763 which I've owned for 2 yrs. It had 2600 hours when I bought it and I've added about 100 hours using it for general chores around the farm. It seems like every time I use it for a couple hours I wind up blowing a hydraulic line. It's never been the same hose but so far I've replaced at least 8 hoses. Am I just experiencing the misfortunes of age or is there a possible cause for this many failures in such a short time? Thank you for any and all help!

the only thing I can suggest is to do a pressure check on the system , maybe someone tweaked the machine before you bought it. until recently I had a bobcat model 500 first made in 1964 when production ceased I do not know, anyway it had a lot of original hoses when I sold it earlier this year. I currently have a 2001 backhoe I have never replaced a hose on. Maybe your pressure relief bypass is not working correctly, it is all I got.
