I was at the dealer a few weeks ago and talked to a service guy I know. I asked him if I could top off my hyd system with 10w-30, since I was repairing a hyd hose. He said I could in my machine. Because thats what they used back then. As far as bobcat hyd fluid goes, he said its basically 10w-30 with a few extra "goodies" added. As far as price went. The bobcat hyd fluid was only $3 more than bobcat 10w30 for a 2 1/2 gallon jug. If it were my machine, I'd buy 2 jugs of bobcat hyd fluid and top off with 10w-30 if needed. Also, when your hyd system is empty its a great time to check your case drain filters and clean them up if needed.</p></blockquote><p></p>
