Hello all, first time owner of a skidsteer. Bought it at liquidation sale recently and needs some tlc but runs really well and love it. Already used it for some back breaking projects around my property. Anyhow, one of the things it needs is a new seat. The old one was just laying in the cab not attached to the tracks which are rusted out and no good. I bought a new seat from ebay recently and now I am working on the cleaning the dirt and junk out from under the old seat but the problem is that it looks like I will need to cut the old tracks and bolts out with an angle grinder and drill new holes for the new seat and track. Just my initial thoughts but does anyone else have any expert advice? Is there an easier way to do this? Maybe raise the operator cab or something? I know just enough to be dangerous
