I have a 753, first group made, the is not operating well when driving forward. When the left lever is pushed forward, it initially engages and drives forward, but after a little while it stops pulling forward and the only the right side keeps driving. I have also noticed that when engaging controls (either side) power engages abrutply no matter how slow I pull the levers. Any ideas?

Most probally the seals inside the drive motor are deterriated and it needs a seal kit , you may need to remove the motor first before ordering seal kit and get the number off the side the motor to get the right kit

I would also check for loose aluminum levers on your swash shafts, on top of your pump under the cab.
