753 spool valve leaking

I have a 753 with the spool valve leaking on the aux spool. It is leaking from the rear cover plate of the aux valve.. It never leaked until I recently used the aux hyd on a trencher.. These aux hyd seldom get used.. I took the cover off cleaned it up. The funny thing is it leaks intermittently.. If I let it set and warm up for awhile sometimes it wont leak.. When it does leak it is pretty severe. Any suggestions? I know there are O-rings in the spool, but was hesitant to pull the valve.. I would think there shouldn't be pressure on that spool all the time.. Is a solenoid stuck open?

You shouldn't need to pull the valve to do the spool seals. It should be able to be pulled out the front of the machine.
