Just bought a 1994 753 Bobcat. It has a tendency to get hot after I run it for a period. After running it for an hour or so, one end of the radiator is hot, the other end is cold. Do you think the radiator is plugged?

Pulled the thermostat out. It doesn't open till about 200 degrees. I left it out, cured the problem. Is there any need to put a new one in?
If you can get it to operating temp you could leave it out. If you are trying to run a heater it won't heat very good

It will work, but engines are made to run at a set temperature to be the most efficient. Thermostats aren't that expensive, I'd like to put a new one in and see how it goes.
