753 jerking/bucking unstable motion

I have a 753 and when using the left side control, turning to the right or forward and reverse, at a slower speed( full throttle also) it has a jerky motion. But when using the right side controls everything is smooth like normal operation. Looking for some guidance on where to start looking, motor, pump, etc?

The first thing I would check is the control linkage on the pump. Sounds like it is loose somewhere. Any where from the trunnion shaft on the pump to the control stick.
