The controls on the right stick have two rocker switches. One stays in position. I assume that one controls the direction of flow. I have a 3 point hitch with pto adapter. It doesn't change direction. could it be that the pto will turn the same direction either way? I don't think so. where could the fault be? the service manual i have isn't very good at locating specific items. Not good for noobs. I imagine either the switch itself or the solenoid, but which one?

Your correct the side to side rocker switch will reverse the flow. Pulling the trigger should start the flow in the default direction and keep it there. Without the trigger pulled, the rocker switch will start the flow in the opposite direction if you pull it to the left side. There is a chance your attachment has a check valve installed which would prevent reversing the hydro direction. A check valve is sometimes used to protect the machine from a jolt by the attachment which could harm the machines hydraulics. A remedy for reversing direction would be to swap the machines hose couplings and hook the hoses opposite from where they were initially.

Are you saying the rocker switch doesn’t reverse flow as it should.? I had a similar problem for my 753 rear aux hydraulics for downriggers. The diodes in the harness had to be replaced. Now it functions perfectly. This is the harness the left and right joystick wire feed attach to.

Before your diodes in the harness failed, did you have any problems with the auxiliary hydraulics working intermittently
?

I looked the diodes in my leads going to the solenoids and haven't tested them yet but I'm going to today since I still can't get my 753 to commit to working the auxiliary hydraulics with the push of the start button.

The diodes you mentioned on your machine are the ones in the wiring going to the solenoids correct?
