Can anyone tell me the differences between a 1995 753 and a 2003 753? I was sold one as a 2003, but Bobcat says it is a 1995....

The C series was made from 94-97, F series 97-99, and G series 99-03. As far as performance, they all have the same engine. The G series has more computer built into it, but not too much compared to anything current. I would assume the hour meter on the C series is analog whereas the G series is digital. I would also assume it would be much easier to fudge the hours on a C series meter by simply replacing it. A digital meter is controlled my the computer thus making it next to impossible to roll back. The G series has some protective measures built into the computer that will shut down the machine if the sensors show troubles. The computer is also capable of listing fault codes for aiding in diagnosing issues. Alot of people like the pre computer machines due to their simplicity. If your unit has a reasonable number of hours I wouldn't be too worried. But it's still sucks that whoever sold it was being dishonest. We need to be educated on what we are buying these days because honest people are harder to find. Keep us posted on how your machine is doing.
