Does anyone have the shop manual for the control valve on a 753 available in a PDF? It is an early unit 508613729. The regular service manual does not go into detail about the control valve and it is my understanding there is a separate manual for this. Thank you in advance, KMM

What sort of detail do you need? they are pretty simple and everything needed should be in the service manual.

Well Mr. Tazz, I'm at the same point I was several months ago. After going round and round with the manufacturer of the new drive pump I purchased a new on from a different vendor. Today I installed it and I've still got nothing. If I 1/2 throttle I can get the tilt to drop and rise very slowly with no bucket on. I get nothing out of the lift. I rebuilt the control valve last Fall / Winter and it was just seals being replaced. All the components were in excellent shape so nothing else needed to be replaced. As far as I know I have everything back where it belongs, but now I'm second guessing myself. My Aux system does not work and that shouldn't be an issue. I've had the 2 solenoids connected and disconnected with no change in operation. I'm stumped and ready to find out how much a couple sticks of dynamite would run me.

I knew that in the manual thread there was a book for the Melroe control block, here's the directory that has the .pdf
I recommend trawling the thread and grabbing anything that might be of use to you, just to have.

Thanks FlyerDan! I was able to find something there that should help. This machine is so old that many parts are no longer available. I may end up rebuilding the valve again which is a pita, but there is no way I'll ever get my money back out of this thing so bandaid it till it dies!

It's possible that the aux is stuck on? causing the fluid to go over the relief and not to the lift/tilt?
You will have 2 coils, one each for aux direction and there should be one for lift lock out. I'd doubt it is partially stuck to prevent it moving all the fluid it should, but i guess it's a possibility?
With the rebuilt pump, was it a compete drive pump or just the gear pump?
Most parts should still be available, thankfully most of the hydraulic and engine parts can be bought after market, but little things like clusters are bobcat only :(
