When I pull back lightly on right side control lever right side clutch will grab and kick front end to the right. Not good when using forks and not wanting to lose the load. Doesnt do it all the time but there are times when it seems like it doesnt want to turn at all. Drive chains are tight. Wheel only moves 3/4" when doing the bounce test. So what do you think is causing this to happen?

753s do not have clutches. Hydro pump supplies oil to drive motor, it turns the drive chains and that turns the wheels. If it is bucky, check the pintal levers on top of the hydrostat. I would bet they are are loose on the shafts. This can make the machines hard to control.

Good point. I had all that linkage off to get at the chaincase to clean it out and to replace an axel tube bearing. I will start there. Thanks!

I agree with Dan on this too. My S250 was like that, it was jumpy as. The alloy arms that bolted to the pump had worn out and moved on the pump shafts, it made fine movements impossible. Not too expensive from the dealer. Make sure they are done up nice and tight.
