Anyone know why the 751 Pug motor has flywheel on right and 753 - 751 kubota has flywheel on left? ( the pump is flipped to ) It is _not_ a rotation issue, both motors turn the same direction and if you go through the flip as a motor / pump unit, the rotation stays the same.
Is it a clearance issue , exhaust heat issue?
Thanks

Its just so that the injector pump etc are accessable from the rear of the machine. If the engine was the other way around you would only see the exhaust. Its just how they decided to build the engine, they had to be different.......
